Will power is something a lot of people struggle with. A lot of people think you either have it or you don’t, but it doesn’t work that way. Will power is like a muscle. The more you use it, the stronger it will get.
Lots of people don’t have a sense of how strong their will is and end up failing because they try to accomplish something that takes more than they have. Just like if you don’t run at all and start by running a 10k, you’ll most likely fail. Will power is the same way. That’s why most people fail at diets or sticking to their own self discipline.
With will power, determination, or self discipline, the best approach I’ve found is to start small and practice often. Then it just gets easier and easier from there. This applies to all aspects of your life, whether it’s a new diet, staying on budget, working out, or anything that takes will power.
Developing your will power muscle will help you stay on track with your goals and achieve things that might have seemed out of reach before. You are more powerful than you know! Develop the power inside you and make your dreams come true!
